Embracing Injury as a Path to Growth ✨ For the Embracing Injury as a Path to Growth ✨ For the last 2 days I can’t move my lower back without intense muscular discomfort. It is just 💯 stuck ~ you can see it in the video 😔 📽️Video is sped up like 50,000,000x as I was doing some seriously slow explorative wiggling to learn why & where it was stuck….and ways to relieve the pain. Also hugely aware my body doesn’t respond well to days of NO movement It got me thinking ~ as someone who likes to look for glimmers ~ injury isn’t always a setback. It can be an incredible opportunity for growth and learning Here’s why: ✨Slowing down & tuning in ~ injuries force us to pause, tune in and truly listen to our bodies ✨Exploring new movements ~ injuries challenge us to explore new ways to move, discovering fresh perspectives & approaches to our practice ✨Understanding body needs & limits ~ our bodies are always communicating with us.
