7 Yoga Practices to Embrace the Season

Welcome to your Summer of Intentional Movement

Enjoy Here

For the teacher who believes learning begins with practice

The Summer Collective has been created for yoga teachers who love to keep learning, not simply through books and trainings, but through their own embodied experience.

Across seven diverse practices, you’ll explore movement and stillness inspired by the energy of Summer in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the pathways of the Heart and Small Intestine meridians. Each class gently weaves together anatomy, movement, energy and seasonal awareness, inviting you to experience the teachings within your own body first.

Together we’ll explore many of the anatomical regions associated with these meridian pathways, including the chest, shoulders, upper back, arms and sides of the body, creating space in areas that can often carry tension from modern life.

This collection of seven classes was designed as an opportunity to give back to yourself this summer. To step away from always holding space for others and instead reconnect with your own practice, your own curiosity, and perhaps even your own why. And as with all meaningful learning, what you experience yourself naturally finds its way back into your teaching.

You may find yourself introducing seasonal themes into your classes, sharing small moments of Traditional Chinese Medicine wisdom with your students, or simply holding space with a little more confidence, creativity and depth. Because often it isn’t the most complicated teachings that transform our classes – it’s the embodied ones.

Move with the Energy of Summer

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Summer is associated with the Fire Element, the Heart and Small Intestine meridians, and the most Yang time of the year. It is a season of warmth, connection, expression and joy, when energy naturally moves outward into the world around us. Yet Summer can also leave us feeling overstimulated, scattered or depleted if we are constantly giving our energy away without taking time to replenish it.

The Summer Collective offers an invitation to pause, move, breathe and reconnect with yourself amongst the fullness of the season.

Across the seven practices, we’ll explore many of the anatomical regions associated with the Heart and Small Intestine meridian pathways, including the chest, shoulders, upper back, arms and sides of the body. Through movement and stillness, each class has been designed to create space in these areas, helping you cultivate balance, softness and ease throughout the summer months.

And for teachers, the experience becomes learning too – allowing the wisdom of the season to naturally filter into the spaces and communities that you hold.

Meet Your Teacher

I’m Caroline, a yoga teacher, anatomy educator and Yin & Traditional Chinese Medicine teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience.

After almost ten years running my own yoga school in Bali, I returned to the UK where I now specialise in helping yoga teachers bring greater depth, understanding and embodiment into their practice and teaching.

My work blends modern anatomy with the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, exploring yoga through the lens of function, energy and seasonal awareness.

The Summer Collective brings together these themes through movement and stillness, offering an opportunity to reconnect with your own practice whilst exploring the energy of the season.
